Chi Anyanwu, Esq.

Based in our Springfield, IL office, she assists clients across Sangamon County and surrounding areas.

Chi earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Illinois College of Law in Urbana-Champaign in May 2024, where she also served as the College of Law Representative on the University Librarians Student Advisory Committee. Before pursuing her LL.M., Chi obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Nigeria in Enugu, Nigeria, graduating with Second Class Honors, Upper Division, in August 2014.

Before joining Stange Law Firm, Chi most recently served as Head of Legal at Crediometer Limited/Crediometer Inc., where she led contract negotiations, advised on funding rounds, and guided the board on legal compliance and due diligence. Simultaneously, she worked as Legal Compliance Officer at JMG Limited, handling contract management, regulatory compliance, tax matters, and litigation oversight. Her prior role at RusselSmith Nigeria Limited involved compliance, privacy, and structuring high-risk energy projects. Earlier in her career, Chi practiced as an Associate Attorney at Adeleye & Adeleye, advising startups, managing IP registrations across African jurisdictions, and appearing in court.
