Vanessa Boese, Esq.

Vanessa Boese is a Junior Associate Attorney in the firm’s Lee’s Summit, Missouri office. With a background in legal research, investigations, and compliance review, Vanessa brings a careful and analytical approach to her work. She values preparation, clear communication, and helping clients feel more comfortable as they move through the legal process.

Vanessa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Visual Art, from the University of Kansas. While completing her undergraduate studies, she earned Dean’s List recognition for five semesters and participated in the Legal Education Accelerated Degree program. She is licensed to practice law in Missouri.

During law school, Vanessa gained practical legal experience through internships with the University of Kansas Office of Civil Rights and Title IX and the Judicial Adjunct General’s Office for the National Guard. Her work included investigating legal inquiries, preparing memoranda, reviewing reports for compliance, and conducting research related to ongoing investigations.

Vanessa also developed leadership and organizational skills while managing a university housing food program, where she oversaw budgeting, purchasing, scheduling, and daily operations for dozens of residents.
