Susan Martin is a Senior Associate Attorney in the firm’s Austin, Texas office. She works with individuals and families navigating difficult and often emotional situations, helping them find a path forward with clarity and confidence. Susan understands that legal matters involving family can feel overwhelming, and she strives to provide steady guidance, clear communication, and practical solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Susan earned her Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Research and Writing. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was a Regents Scholar. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and California.

Prior to joining the firm, Susan worked as counsel in Austin, Texas, where she handled a variety of legal matters that required careful attention to detail, strong communication, and thoughtful problem-solving. Her work included drafting and negotiating complex agreements, advising on employment-related matters, and guiding clients through important decisions that could impact their future.
