Diane earned her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad & Tobago. She also earned her Bachelor of Laws LLB (Hons) from the University of Guyana. After law school, Diane went on to earn a certificate in Oil Gas, and Mining Governance from the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford and a post-graduate diploma in International Oil, Gas, and Energy Law from London Metropolitan University. Diane is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri and Guyana, South America.

Before joining the Columbia, Missouri divorce and family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, Diane most recently worked as an International Independent Consultant for the extractive sector and General Practitioner in private practice in Guyana, where she provided legal representation in civil, divorce, and family matters. She worked to develop case strategies in collaboration with clients to achieve favorable outcomes and ensure that client’s needs were met. Before this, she spent five years working as a Deputy National Director and Legal Officer for the Ministry of Natural Resources in Guyana. Diane also spent eight years working as a Paralegal and Research Assistant for the IBIS Legal Chambers in Guyana, where she developed key legal research, trial preparation, and interviewing skills.

Outside of her legal work, Diane enjoys spending quality time with her two sons, traveling to new places, and spending time in the gym and doing yoga. She is also a big fan of comedy.
